Tagesheim St. Leonhard (Basel)

The St. Leonhard Day Care Center offers 35 full-time places. A baby group with 6 places for children from 2-3 months to approx. 3 years. Two mixed-age children's groups with 12 and 13 places respectively from 3 years to approx. 12 years. Children who grow up with us have the possibility to change to an internal lunch afternoon care (day structure).

The St. Leonhard Day Care Center was founded on June 1, 1889. It is located at Socinstrasse 51 and is thus in a prime location in the Spalenquartier, a popular residential area of the city of Basel. It is easily accessible by public transportation.

Neighborhood kindergartens, various schools and beautiful city parks, which invite you to play, are in the immediate vicinity and can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The day care center is statutorily organized as an association, which is managed by a board of directors. The structures are independent, denominationally as well as politically neutral, and private. The St. Leonhard Day Care Center is financed by subsidies from the Canton of Basel-Stadt, contributions from parents, legacies and donations.
