Fiorino Abtwil (Abtwil)

In our daycare center in Abtwil, children from the age of three months until they start school find an environment in which they can develop with lots of exercise, healthy food and exploring nature.

Plenty of space to discover: Our daycare center offers space for up to 28 children, has two garden areas and a forest sofa. Every week we are allowed to use the gym at the Oberstufenzentrum. Our central kitchen Fiorino Tavola ensures a healthy and balanced diet, preparing fresh children's menus from regional ingredients every day.

Open pedagogy: With us, the children shape their everyday lives. They decide every day which activities interest them and who they want to spend their time with. In this way, we promote the children's independence, personal responsibility and self-confidence.

Quality assurance: Fiorino Abtwil bears the "QualiKita" quality label for Swiss daycare centers. The location was tested in 8 subject areas with more than 110 features and passed with top marks. As a certified daycare centre, we focus on the development of the children and are constantly developing as an organization and team.

Organizational matters: We primarily accept children of parents living in Gaiserwald for whom subsidized places are also available. If the occupancy of the daycare center allows, we also accept children from other communities at a cost-covering rate.
