Kindertagesstätten Kiddi (Zürich)

The association Kindertagestätten Kiddi directs its offer as a family-supplementary childcare to children aged three months to four years (kindergarten entry). Our opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 18:30.

Kiddi 1 is a small family daycare center with a mixed-age group near Triemli. Thus, the location offers an optimal connection to public transport. The bus station "In der Ey" as well as the bus and streetcar station Triemli can be reached in a short distance. Therefore, parents have a quick connection to the city center/ main train station.

Our daycare center is located in a modern housing development, where we have a large outdoor area (courtyard) with a playground and opportunities for exercise right next to the daycare center. The neighborhood offers various opportunities to spend time outside with the children. A highlight is always a visit to the city nursery, where the children have the opportunity to observe and marvel at exotic plants, free-flying birds, fish such as koi and water turtles.

Our rooms are bright, age-appropriate and lovingly furnished. We let our imagination run free at our large windows and decorate them according to the seasons. We have also created meaningful niches for the children to linger, build or simply be. Our daily routine is designed creatively and includes targeted encouragement as well as handicraft activities and other age-appropriate activities. Every day we take the children out into the fresh air, to the playground, for a walk or on an excursion.

From April to June is our project time. This is when our forest and pre-kindergarten projects take place, as well as many other special activities.

The work with the parents is also very important to us. The development of the child is discussed in detail during the annual meetings. The parent events are always very popular, both with the children and the parents.

We use our large kitchen and are proud to cook fresh for the children every day. We emphasize seasonal products as well as healthy nutrition.

We are a young and dynamic team, for whom the support of the independence of each child and the perception of their individual needs is particularly important.
