Our Principles and Values

We want our children to mature into socially capable and happy adults. We are only a part of this building block. We act conscientiously and according to our knowledge of pedagogy. In this way we help the child to find its place.

**Our children

We want our children to feel empowered and secure. Our affection and interest in the child is genuine. We respect each one in his individual personality, support him in his strengths but also where he has weaknesses. The children should express their opinions and their needs. We see it as our task to perceive these and to respond to them. It is important to us that they learn to be considerate of each other.

**Our parents

We see our childcare services as a complement to the family. A good relationship with the parents, characterized by mutual trust, benefits the child. Together we set goals and hold regular reviews. Our parents should be assured that their child is in good hands with us in every respect.

Our staff

We promote a working atmosphere that is characterized by trust and mutual respect**.** All of our employees have a solid education in the pedagogical and/or management field. We adapt our focus to the development of our time and attend at least one further training every year.

Apprenticeships and internships.

We offer young people in our institute to learn a challenging and varied professional apprenticeship or to complete a one-year internship, in which the ideas and expectations of this demanding job are tested.

We attach great importance to a management style based on partnership. Each of our team members sees himself as part of the whole. We cooperate and assume our social responsibility.

Cooperation

The daycare center cooperates with the municipality of Volketswil, which grants us an operating license and reviews our work. It also allows subsidized places for the children. If necessary, we cooperate with the social welfare office, the youth and family counseling, the school administration, playgroups, as well as kindergartens, schools and other institutions in the family and school supplementary area.
