Kita Bachmätteli (Bern)

Located directly on the main road through Bümpliz, the Bachmätteli daycare center surprises with light-flooded rooms behind the yellow walls - and a hidden terrace overlooking the inner courtyard.

The expansive outdoor space is regularly used for playing football or doing laps on a scooter. The spacious interior of the former police building offers space for four care groups. In addition to fixed eating and sleeping areas, the children can experiment with all their senses in education rooms with a climbing wall, in the studio, in role-play rooms or even in an office corner. At the Bachmätteli daycare center, which celebrates its fifteenth anniversary in 2025, children from a wide variety of nations come together in a family-like and caring atmosphere. And when the children are not playing in the car corner, they can watch real emergency vehicles at the police station on the opposite side of the street.
