Kita Bitzius (Bern)

The Bitzius daycare center is located in the Schönberg Ost district of Bern, between the Rosengarten and the Paul Klee Center.

The modern wooden building is located right next to the Bitzius school building and close to the "Galgenfeld" bus station, with its large window fronts and ground-floor rooms that provide direct and safe access to the outdoor area. Inside the Bitzius daycare center, wooden walls and the color lime green create a cozy atmosphere and offer a natural environment for the children, who are cared for in three age groups. The varied and high-quality play program is constantly adapted to the children's needs. In the educational rooms, the children can pursue their individual interests and also gain experience in mixed-age small groups. These include, for example, the movement room, the creative room and a role-play corner. The garden offers plenty of space to move and discover with a large sandpit, a water landscape and a climbing tower. In the warmer months, the children are allowed to help plant the garden beds and can thus develop a careful relationship with nature.
