Kita Centralpark (Luzern)

Giving children a loving home: This is a tradition at the Generationenhaus, where the Centralpark daycare center has been located in the middle of retirement apartments since 2012.

Mothers in emergency situations used to find refuge here in the mother and child home. Today, a sculpture depicting a mother with her child is a reminder of the history of this place. The daycare center is located in the lively Tribschenstadt district - a five-minute walk from Lucerne train station - and offers space for three age groups on two floors. Bright rooms and various play and retreat areas create a cozy and familiar atmosphere. A special feature is the large terrace with plenty of lawn, a sandpit and a wooden balancing worm. The daycare center's own cook prepares fresh and healthy meals every day. The children are welcome to help with the preparation.
