Kita Dängelibänz (Bern)

A family quarter like Länggasse needs a warmly run, lively family home - and that's what the Dängelibänz daycare center is.

The proud townhouse with its warm red façade has long been a home for children. Many of the parents who bring their children to Dängelibänz went to daycare here themselves. It has been run by leolea since 2005. The building on Seidenweg is located in the middle of the Länggass district in Bern and was completely renovated in 2018. The bathrooms now have more age-appropriate sanitary facilities and the bright rooms radiate friendliness and warmth thanks to the new lighting and color concept. The children are divided into three age groups on three floors and have their own family retreat. In the rooms on the fourth floor and in the spacious and cozy attic, the children can come together across groups. Whether in the educational rooms for their individual interests or during joint activities such as play and exercise, all the children enjoy being together here. They can play and "sand" in the secluded garden and children from the age of 3 are offered regular trips to the nearby Bremgarten forest. Our own forest area has a fireplace and a forest sofa and is designed together with the children according to their ideas and imagination.
