Kita Seeburg (Luzern)

A fresh and balanced snack is offered daily at the Seeburg daycare center, with the bread being baked 2-3 times a week. The children are welcome to help.

The beautiful red kitchen stands invitingly in the middle of the large nursery room - who wouldn't want to help? The Seeburg daycare center, located right next to the Museum of Transport, is just a few minutes by bus or train from Lucerne train station. The children are looked after in two age groups. There is a movement room and a sleeping area, everything else takes place in the large, open room. Here there is a role-playing corner, a book wall, a siesta area, a construction zone and a creative corner. A large, natural garden awaits outside. The children can collect branches or dig holes in the ground as they please. There is also a feel trail. There are regular excursions to the Würzenbach forest or to nearby playgrounds. Another special feature is the cultural diversity: the children's parents come from Switzerland, Japan, America, Brazil, Greece or Italy. For this reason, a new country of the world is the theme of each month, with various activities being carried out to match the country. Sometimes we cook Italian food, sometimes we listen to Brazilian music or dance in Greek.
