Kita Stockfeld (Aegerten)

The children call the Stockfeld daycare center the "dragon daycare center": The façade with its golden tiles is indeed vaguely reminiscent of a scaly dragon skin.

In any case, the house built as a daycare center cannot be overlooked. It is quietly located in the inner courtyard of the new Stockfeld housing estate in Aegerten and is easily accessible by car and public transport - both from Biel and from Lyss. The children are cared for in two age-separated groups and have plenty of space to develop. There is a protected area for the very little ones, a movement room and a construction room for the older ones and also a role-play room. The rooms are bright, open and child-friendly. The large lawn in the daycare center's own garden is equipped with a sandpit, a playhouse and an awning. Right next to the building, the children also have access to the local playground with a slide and climbing tower. Every now and then, the Stockfeld daycare center takes a trip to the nearby meadow to watch the horses.
