Collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coop at the neighboring agricultural school and preparing them yourself in the large kitchen island - the Swisscolino daycare center offers all of this. And not in the hills of the Emmental, as one might think given the natural surroundings, but in the heart of the service center in Ittigen, just a few minutes' walk from Worblaufen RBS train station. Built in 1999 as a Swisscom employee daycare centre, the red, oval building with its cosy wooden cladding has belonged to the leolea organization since 2005. Not only in the garden and the local recreation area: the interior of the daycare center is also spacious. The two age groups can play, do gymnastics, bake, do handicrafts and even climb a built-in tower at ground level, the windows of which offer a panoramic view of the grounds with the enclosed and weatherproof baby carriage garage. The range of services also includes a hairdresser who visits the daycare center every 2-3 months to cut the children's hair.
