**Nutrition
- Eating should be a pleasure.
- Many of our foods are of organic quality.
- We encourage independent eating, pouring and scooping with child-friendly dishes and cutlery.
- We arrange the food as nicely as possible, we set the table lovingly and ensure that the table atmosphere is as pleasant and relaxed as possible.
- We do not force anyone to eat, but we try to motivate the children to try everything.
- We pay attention to foods that come from the region if possible, to whole foods, to products with as little / no added sugar as possible. We do not buy "budget" or "prix guarantee" products.
- We eat a lot of fruit and vegetables (at every meal).
- Sweets should and may be, birthdays should be celebrated accordingly and also otherwise something sweet belongs to the Zvieri. But we always eat something healthy as well.
- Sweets can also be dried fruit and not just chocolate or cookies. We also consider jam and honey as sweets. For drinks we offer water and sugar-free teas, for breakfast also milk / cocoa. For birthdays we also offer juice (diluted). (In the toddler groups, we do not offer sweet snacks, since crispbread, crackers, cornflakes, etc. already contain sugar. already contain sugar. In the toddler groups we limit sweet Zvieri to 1 time per week).
- The midday meal is prepared for us by SV Service in Zurich Binz, since it is impossible for us to cook in the houses ourselves. SV Service uses seasonal and regional food whenever possible, especially when it comes to fresh produce, and does not source air-freighted goods.
- We usually eat meat 2x per week, vegetarian 2x and fish 1x per week.
