La Nanosphère (Lausanne)

La Nanosphère, a private day nursery located in the EPFL innovation district in Ecublens. We welcome children aged from 3 months to 4 years, and also have a pre-school Petite section class.

Our mission is to enable children to play an active role in change and in their own future, from an early age.

Our pedagogical approach is forward-looking. We are convinced that the first 1,000 days of a child's life are crucial to his or her future development. This phase is decisive for their physical, emotional and intellectual development.

That's why our educational approach is so focused on this crucial stage.

We are aware that the experiences and interactions of these early days have a considerable influence on a child's cerebral development. This has consequences for learning, behavior and health for many years to come.

With this in mind, our mission is to provide an enriching and stimulating environment, tailor-made to meet the specific needs of each child. We aim to foster their all-round development by laying a solid foundation that will accompany them throughout their lives.

Our pedagogy is forward-looking, anticipating children's future needs in terms of skills and knowledge. Our educators are here to prepare your children to excel in an ever-changing world and to take on the challenges of tomorrow.

Our teaching is immersive, based on the idea that children develop vital skills in authentic and stimulating learning environments. This fosters the acquisition of skills that go beyond mere academic content, stimulating the child's holistic development.

Our activities are part of an elaborate and evolving teaching program, covering the period from nursery (from 3 months) to petite section (4 years). Each project plays an important role in the children's personal development.

La Nanosphère is a crèche belonging to the Educalis group, an organization that brings together four childcare centers: Les Petits Acrobates, Le Microcosme, Les 6 Sens and La Nanosphère; the Vivalys school (from Petite Section to 7P), as well as its summer camp organization Les Graines de Curieux (for children aged 3 to 15 - open to children from outside Educalis). With these establishments, our aim is not only to care for your children, but also to support them in their development, stimulate their thirst for learning and satisfy their innate curiosity.
