Kita Rossfeld (Inklusionskita) (Bern)

With the Rossfeld daycare center, we are expanding our existing childcare services in Tiefenau and have been offering our first additional service for children with special needs and increased care requirements in the city of Bern since October 30, 2023.

As a long-standing competence center for people with physical disabilities, the Rossfeld Foundation is a versatile integration professional. We are very much looking forward to the new partnership and collaboration.

The premises on the first floor of the children's and youth wing of the Rossfeld Foundation have been renovated to make them suitable for children and daycare centers and boast large, bright rooms. The 80 m2 green area invites the children to play and explore. The daycare center and the Rossfeld Foundation organize everyday life together, and encounters are encouraged. The daycare center has a central kitchen and child-friendly sanitary facilities. Each group has its own eating and play areas. The Ü2 group also has its own, directly accessible and child-safe balcony. The large garden is fenced in and has a sandpit and a lawn. It is shaded by trees and awnings. The hard court around the Rossfeld Foundation can also be used.

In our daycare center, we offer children with increased care needs an individual and situation-based daycare routine. The integration sequences are carefully defined in observation of the child and in discussion with the parents. Find out more under Additional services for children with special needs.
